We recently took our RV down to Moab, UT, and made this short video of some of the exploring we did.  Even though we were mostly just sightseeing, we did manage to get in quite a bit of exercise in the form of hiking and cycling.  Some of what you’ll see in this video:

  • Riding the bike path from Moab to Arches and the turnoff to Canyonlands National Parks
  • Rock climbers along Potash Road (U279)
  • Balanced Rock
  • Double Arch
  • Turret Arch
  • Landscape Arch
  • North and South Windows

If you’ve not taken your RV down to Moab, put this area on your bucket list.  As you can see, the scenery is absolutely beautiful, and the weather is typically fantastic.  This video was taken in MID FEBRUARY!  But a couple words of advice to RVers: Arches can get very crowded in season; the lines can be long and the parking limited.  If you’ve got a rig any bigger than our class B, I’d really advise leaving it outside the park and taking a smaller vehicle in.  Or – take a bike!  This is, after all, the mountain biking capital of the world.

Oh, and if you like the music in the video, that’s me and my buddy Kyle.  (I’m on bass and drums, and he’s handling the guitars.)

See you on the road, friends!
